Route Description – 150KM BRM
Start/Finish: Sri Mulam Club, Trivandrum
Route: Trivandrum – Vattapara – Venjaramoodu – Ayoor – Anchal – Punalur Bridge – Anchal – Ayoor – Pothencode – Vetturoad – Chakka – Trivandrum
Approximate Distance: 150 kilometers
Estimated Elevation Gain: 1200 to 1500 meters

The ride begins at Sri Mulam Club in Trivandrum, moving steadily out of the city via Vattapara and reaching Venjaramoodu. This initial stretch is relatively smooth with mild elevation and sparse early-morning traffic.

From Venjaramoodu, the route heads toward Ayoor and then to Anchal. These sections are characterized by scenic rural roads, gentle climbs, and lush greenery. After Anchal, riders proceed to the turnaround point at the iconic Punalur Bridge. The roads here are in good condition, with moderate elevation gain as you approach Punalur.

After reaching Punalur, the route retraces back through Anchal and Ayoor. From Ayoor, instead of heading back the same way, riders take a deviation through Pothencode and Vetturoad. This section offers countryside views with rolling terrain and relatively less traffic.

The final leg of the journey passes through Chakka and back into Trivandrum city, returning to the starting point at Sri Mulam Club.
