The route starts from Hotel Ginger, Kazhakuttom, Trivandrum and heads south along the coastal stretch to Kovalam Juma Masjid (approx. 25 km), offering an easy warm-up section. Riders then continue towards the southern tip of India, reaching the iconic Sunset Viewpoint at Kanyakumari (approx. 105 km), where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet—an early visual highlight of the ride.

From Kanyakumari, the route turns north-east towards Tirunelveli (approx. 185 km), with a stop at The Nellai Bike Store, a known cyclist-friendly point. The ride then continues to Thoothukudi (approx. 235 km), passing through open highway sections before heading deeper into Tamil Nadu towards Ramanathapuram (approx. 360 km). JBR Residency at Ramanathapuram serves as the first bag drop location, allowing riders to access their belongings and refresh before the demanding coastal out-and-back stretch.

The next section is a key highlight—riders proceed to Arichal Munai Beach, Dhanushkodi (approx. 435 km), a unique and remote coastal endpoint. Entry to Dhanushkodi is restricted between 9 AM and 4 PM, so time management here is critical. The stretch offers a rare riding experience with narrow roads flanked by the sea on both sides. Riders then return to Ramanathapuram (approx. 510 km) to complete this loop and can again utilize the bag drop facility.

The route then heads towards Madurai (approx. 630 km), passing through culturally rich regions, followed by Dindigul (approx. 695 km) and Palani (approx. 750 km), known for its temple town and gradual climbing sections. From here, the terrain transitions towards Pollachi (approx. 815 km) and Coimbatore (approx. 840 km), with improving road conditions and long steady stretches.

Crossing back into Kerala, riders reach Alathur, Palakkad (approx. 905 km), which serves as the second bag drop location—another opportunity to rest, change, and reset before the final push. The route continues through Thrissur (approx. 940 km) and then towards Muvattupuzha (approx. 1015 km), entering more humid and rolling terrain.

The final stretch covers Kottayam (approx. 1070 km) and Adoor (approx. 1130 km), gradually bringing riders back towards familiar roads. The ride concludes at Hotel Ginger, Kazhakuttom, Trivandrum, completing a challenging and rewarding journey of approximately 1200 km. This route combines coastal beauty, cultural landmarks, long endurance stretches, and strategic recovery points—demanding strong pacing, planning, and resilience throughout.
