Surely this is not a Cake walk. Elevation gain is near to 2600 meters in this 200 Km. Brevet rides are getting tougher . The route is towards east and is negotiating the hill terrains . This ride is not for the faint hearted. There will be isolated forest roads. The only the person to talk to will be yourself at times. All your bike survival skills may come handy. Brush up your puncture fixing, tyre changing skills. this rides are your road to LRMs PBPs or LELs..

The ride Starts from The Bike store Aluva and rides towards JLN stadium for 12.5 km.. Turn around and return to the Bikestore for first CP and Refreshments. Continue towards Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam Route. Before reaching Neriyamangalam Town be sure to take the right deviation on to Idukki Painavu road towards Lower Periyar dam. ( please note you must not cross the Neriamangalam Bridge on your Onwards route) . At Lower periyar Dam take left towards Panamkutty Bridge and ride towards Kallarkutty Dam ( this is a serious Climb), At Kallarkutty take left towards Adimaly Town. At Adimaly junction turn left On to Aluva Road. Half a KM from the Adimaly Junction your next CP Hotel Safair will be on your left side. Your Lunch is included in the Program. Hand over the Lunch Coupon to The manager and Enjoy your Lunch. Ride down to Neriyamangalam and cross Neriyamangalam Bridge to wards Kothamangalam, Perumbavoor and Aluva. Finish your ride in style at the Bikestore Aluva.

The road works from Adimaly to Neriamangalam is on the finishing stages. Beware of Traffic deviations and Traffic control.. Expect traffic in Perumbavoor town on your way back.
